The face behind FineArtKate.

I'm Kate Alderson, the artist behind FineArtKate. My passion lies in capturing the beauty of nature and the great outdoors through my art. Traveling inspires me, and I aim to merge my explorations with my artistic creations. Nature holds a special place in my heart, and I strive to shed light on its wonders. The tranquility and stories nature and animals offer influence my work deeply. I invite you to immerse yourself in these experiences through my paintings. Open to unique commissions, I enjoy the challenge they bring.

My art journey began at a young age, exploring various mediums and subjects. While specialising in watercolour landscapes in recent years, my architectural studies and work limited my artistic pursuits. Amid the 2020 lockdown, I crafted a watercolour piece of Llanberis Pass near Snowdon Mountain in Wales, which was featured in the Wales Contemporary Exhibition, 2020. My works have also been recognised in publications like Eclectic Magazine and TSDAP Online Gallery. Commissions have travelled international including Iceland. I honed my artistry through studies in fine art at GCSE, A-level, and Loughborough University, where I delved into fine art before transitioning to architecture. Now, I am dedicating myself to advancing my art career, and I invite you to join me on this creative voyage.
